Nude Babes

I'm a girl of many angles. Meaning, I'll post about everything. Today's post: these spankin' new moccasins I got myself. Let me just begin with how hard it is for me to spend a lot of money on myself, so these babies were a difficulty. But the second I walked into Zara ( where else did you think I would spend so much money on myself? ) these were the first thing I took into my arms and never let go. Best part? They're nude... And who doesn't love some skin-toned shoes that match with everything? well, enough with my rat tat tat, enjoy my great photography skills with my blackberry (yeah, I'm the only person to still own a bb)

It's Finally Here!

The Olympics have arrived! There's not much to say, other than all the uniforms were amazing! So, since the fashion aspect has passed us, it's now time to talk about the sports! A favorite gymnast of mine is Jake Dalton! He's beyond gorgeous and yes, that's pretty much the only reason I love him. However, there is this other gorgeous man named David Boudia... He a diver and he's amazing! There are very high hopes that he will be bringing the USA a medal home. And lastly, I'm beyond excited to see Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps battle it out!! I'm extremely 50:50 on this situation- Phelps is only 3 medals away from becoming the only Olympian to ever hold so many medals, but Lochte is showing lots of promise (besides, who doesn't like to root for the underdog?)
For now, I leave you all with some pictures if my favorite moments from the opening ceremony and a photo of my favorite Olympians!
Til next time,
Camila P

#London2012

For those who have been at Mars for the past year, the Olympics are practically here (more specifically- tomorrow)! Being the TV junkie I am, I'm extremely stoked for an occasion that only occurs once every 4 years. Especially, when it comes to the Opening Ceremony! Many of you are probably thinking "Of course! You're not into this for the sports!", but you're incredibly mistaken. The sports are 50% of my excitement. The other 50% : the fashion! Fashion at the Olympics? You read correct! World known designers have been collaborating outfits for many countries, and since there are so many countries being represented, I'm going to list here just a few of my favorites:

For the USA, who better than the classy and sophisticated Ralph Lauren?

Here are the opening ceremony outfits

 and the closing ceremony outfits.

We also got the amazing Stella McCartney for the Great Britain! This is called the "Olympic Kit" ( aka - when they design the clothes they'll be wearing to compete. ) You're probably wondering if it's possible to get one of these fancy shmancy outfits for the gym, but thus is not so. This is actually a collaboration that McCartney did with Adidas.

Stella with her athletes in her designs.

Cedella Marley has designed the ceremonial outfits and Kit for Jamaica. Did anyone catch the coincidence? If you guessed that it's only predictable that Cedella would design for her father's, Bob Marley, home country, you guessed right!

Also thrown into the bunch is a sketch of a jacket for the equestrian team for France by the great Hermés.

Then we have Armani for Italy!

Prada has designed the kit for the Italian national sailing team

One of my favorites is Salvatore Ferragamo for the Republic of San Remo.

The Australian's outfits have already been unveiled, and I just have one question: where did that green come from?

And last and for certain not least, one of my other favorites, is the Netherlands. Love the bright orange!

Is the fashionsta in you still not satisfied? Check out this blogger who has posted every country which has revealed their outfits already!

And for the designers who aren't making clothes for the Olympians themselves, they instead make their own Olympic collection. Karl Lagerfeld of Chanel has come up with an Olympic - themed collection to be unveiled the night before the Olympics. To see a preview of the collection, head on over to Vogue.
The name of the collection? Team Karl.

Lazy Dayz

Yup. That's been my summer. I haven't been very productive. Barely productive actually. But what can I say? My best excuse is: It's summer! Let me be. But seriously, I'm disappointed in myself for doing nothing. I've spent most of my days watching The Office and making screen caps out of the best moments & that's it! But enough about this rant about my unproductiveness. I'm here to ask for motivation. Or rather, to find it. Everytime I come onto this blog, I try to find a new design for it, because the one I have now is seriously depressing me. Maybe once I see something pretty, I'll try writing more about prettier things. So, til then, ttfn! Camila P
