Heavenly Touch

Please don't let the length be a turnoff...
I don't think anyone understands my obsession with the artistic aspect of life. I don't even know how to explain it myself. It's just this imagery that I see in everything, even the things you wouldn't imagine would have anything to do with art. It's just one of those things that gets the wheels in my head turning too quickly. But enough of my blabber:
You all need to go see Snow White and the Huntsman.
Let me begin, with the fact that at first, I thought it was just as ridiculous as any other movie that has been re-made and recreated way too many times. But it wasn't until I saw Florence's performance of Breath of Life that this movie really intrigued me.
For those who view life the way I do, here are the reasons I cannot wait to see this movie:

  • I am so fascinated by the cinematography, set design, directing, wardrobes, and all the other sorts of things that contribute to the image of this movie. It's beyond amazing. I am so in love. If I could marry this movie, I would be down on one knee before anyone could say "fairest one of all".
  • Charlize Theron. Must I speak any further? She has to be one the greatest actresses I have just discovered. You see her in all these movies acting as the btch, witch, mean girl, etc. and you would imagine that's exactly the kind of person she probably is, but it's no exaggeration when I say she's the complete opposite, and I love that I would never in my life guess that about her (because of her performances). But anyways, she's just brilliant. In addition to what I said before about the artistic aspect of this movie, my favorite scenes thus far (from what I've seen in the trailers at least) is the part where she, as the evil queen, bathes in milk. *gives a standing ovation to the director for that scene*
  • Lastly, like I mentioned before, I fell in love with this movie because I was looking up Florence's song. Let me begin by saying that Florence Welch's voice is one of the most spectacular voices I have ever heard, and what she does with it is even more amazing. Then tie her mysterious, fantasy voice into this trailer and you have yourself a winner. It's just so amazing. I have no other words to express my love for it. She makes this trailer looks so majestic, it's indescribable. the adrenaline she belts out in the beginning with the horses and the fighting is so magnificent that you have to wonder "Where has this voice been for every other medieval movie!?" and then the soft melody she produces just after that part (with the queen's bathe in milk...so incredible- the mix of Florence's voice & the serenity of the scene)... view "Breath of Life" now so that you may understand my infatuation.

For those who aren't as into depth as I am, and watch the movies because of the ratings Fandango gives it:
  • Once again, Charlize Theron. Do I need to say anymore?
  • Kristen Stewart: let me admit, I was hesitant at first because all I was imagining was Edward jumping from behind the evil queen yelling "I'm here to save you!" But I'm hoping that she pulls off a different aspect to her acting in this film. Plus, she steals RPattz accent for the movie, so I'm excited to see if it's going to be a hit or miss.
  • Chris Hemsworth. . . like, c'mon. Still not convinced? : He has an Australian accent. (if that, plus his gorgeous beauty doesn't win you over, I don't know what to say.)
I hope you enjoyed my review, and this is the one before the film has even been released! Can't wait to see what I write about afterwards. . .
Head over to http://xfinitytv.com/snowwhite to see an exclusive 5 minute trailer!! that'll definitely be convincing!

I hope the length of this post wasn't too much of a turnoff. whoopsies.

but enough of my tears.
I saw "The Kids Are Alright" today...
weeeeeeellll.... because of my morals and beliefs and a bunch of other stuff, it was a bit heavy on the porn for me. too much.
but, i guess the story was cute. would i watch it again? heck no. would i recommend it? maybe...
well, that's all the productiveness i did on this last day of freedom.
i hope to blog a bit more this year, seeing as how i have high hopes for 2012.
til then,

Miley LOLs

so, miley cyrus is going to be in this new movie, LOL: laughing out loud, which is actually a french film about a typical french girls life. . . and now theyre remaking it into an english film. but you see, french people are alot more...oh,whats the word... "open minded" (not very good) than us americans. But at the same time, there's alot of people who are like that in our country as well. Now, we all know that miley is trying to loose her "disney image" and all, but i think she's a taking a leap too far for her with this production. if they decide to make the movie similiar to the french film, then that would mean miley would have to kiss girls, flaunt her bikini wax to her mom, do pot, and loose her virginity. Yes, we know miley, youre not a little girl any more, and i respect her for wanting to 'grow up' (and not being able to in the public eye), but i think this film is a little much... if they do go through with everything mentioned, Miley will be facing alot of criticism. but hey, not every move in an actors career will be appealing to everyone. Just so you can see what I'm talking about, here's the trailer to the French film (there are english subtitles). what do you think about this?

and here are some pictures from on set:

Miley Cyrus, Ashley Greene, Douglas Booth, Ashley Hinsaw, Lina Esco and the rest of the cast

10 Things I Hate About You

i just saw this movie for the first time, and it was a must-see classic!! Heath Ledger *with his australian accent* is so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Joseph Gordon-Levitt is.just.adorable! I'm definitely going to be purchasing it soon! til then, enjoy the poem written for mr. Ledger in the movie!

I hate the way you talk to me,

And the way you cut your hair.

I hate the way you drive my car,

I hate it when you stare.

I hate your big dumb combat boots

And the way you read my mind.

I hate you so much it makes me sick,

It even makes me rhyme.

I hate the way you're always right,

I hate it when you lie.

I hate it when you make me laugh,

Even worse when you make me cry.

I hate it when you're not around,

And the fact that you didn't cal.

l But mostly I hate the way I don't hate you,

Not even close…

Not even a little bit…

Not even at all

Time & Prime

So there's only 2 more days til my school year starts once again, and I just wanted to inform you guys that I probably won't be writing as much anymore, which really breaks my heart and makes me want to throw myself on the floor and cry. ( a little exxagerrated, i know, but it's practicly true, i love blogging!) but for sure, I'll make sure to at least post 1 jotting a week... most probably on Sundays (if im not stuck with some dumb project.) so for now, i leave (not forever) you all with my regards and my little goodbye because i will be back, no worries.
Oh, and there's this movie that I wanted to recommend to you all, it's called Prime and its this romantic comedy and such...but it's different than all the romantic comedies you see... its not the stereotypical love story, its actually based more on reality than hollywood; and I'm gonna stop now because I dont want to give anymore away. but I definately recommend it because it has a beautiful (real) interpretation on following your heart (but let your intelligence {?} be your guide).
til next time,
(I'm seriously aching right now writing this...but I think its more that I'm starting school then not being able to blog, even though I will miss blogging, but now I'm just acting as if I'm quiting, oh my ... )

Harry Potter. . . La Final

So, this might be kind of random and such but I just got into Harry Potter, as of June 2010. I know, weird. lol. I just happened to get into it when the final movie is coming out. So now, I reeealllyy desperately want to see all the movies, because I haven't. And then, a threshold opened up! I went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios. Whether you're a fan or a hater, who.cares?! that place was amazing! and don't even get me started at how famazinngg the ride was. That theme park then got me into wanting to read the books as well. So, i have 3 weeks of life left (or til school begins again) and I want to see the movies now before i have no life, yet again. Til then, here are some images from the final movie. (just two, no biggy).

With many Hopes, Mila.

(not from the third movie, obviously)

They have come such a friggin . long . way.

This just made me step back and go "...wow..."

Celebrity Fashions

For my first update on both fashion and celebrities, why not begin with their gorgeous styles on the red carpet?

Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton in a gorgeous Valentino dress. Their upcoming movie, "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" looks like it should be a hit! Gemma looks beautiful as always along side her handsome costar, Jake, who she has said to be one handsome fellow . I couldn't agree better Gemma ;)

and here's the trailer, just for fun!

and here is Gemma once again in a Little Black dress with some black gladiator heels by Gucci <3

Camilla Belle is seen here in a bright red, one shoulder dress by Jason Wu. I absolutely love the way it just falls on her body, and the color with her skin tone is a perfect match. definately my favorite.

The last one for the night is Jennifer Lopez's sequenced Zuhair Murad dress. I love love love this dress, and let me tell you, I'm not a fan of sequence.
