Just Say It!

Tues. August 31.

Have you ever felt that you just can't tell someone something because
it'll dissapoint them? (I know, deja vu to another post...but this
ones different). In relationship to a child & parent at least. Like
when your mom picks out this big pink dress that has ruffles on the
bottom and big puffy sleeves? Or when your dad picks out those
sneakers that are so not cool and two sizes too big? That happens to
me all the time. Yea, it might not to you, and I understand (my
sisters like that). I tell myself sometimes I'm just too nice. And I
know I am, I've been told. But people also tell me I shouldn't be,
because being a nice person isn't going to help in life. Of course,
you need to be kind to people, but you shouldn't let them step all
over you, is what I'm trying to say. My point: I did that again. I
always do. To my parents at least. To my friends I'll usually be
completely honest, but I just can't dissappoint my parents. I want to
say "no I didn't really want to go" but I said the opposite. I thought
I hinted enough that I didn't want to go, but I guess it didn't work.
Hints don't really work unless its for a riddle. Piece of advice: just
say the truth. Don't hold back. . . . I should take my own advice.

Life is a Decision

Tuesday, August 31.

Don't you wish you could be in charge of your own life?
Determine what you want to do, where you want to go, how you want to do it.
If only life was that easy, but it isn't. Its quite the opposite. Yea,
you chose what career you want to pursue , what college you want to go
to, but it always comes down to the decisions of other that just might
determine where you go. If a colllege doesn't accept you, there's goes
that decision. I wish I could glimpse into the future, see what it
would be like, if its really everything I hope it will be. I wonder if
ill live the perfect life I hope to live. But I can't do that. But ill
have to wait, "good things come to those who wait", I hope it works
out for me.

That's something that was on my mind today. Just some last words:You determine your future. No one can predict your life for you.In the end, it ALL comes down to YOU.So trust in yourself, believe that you can do it, and it will be done.*I think I may have sounded a little contrary... but that was kind of the point).
Con mucho amor .

It's A Secret.

You know that one person who you're so close with that you tell them anything-everything? You tell them some of the dumbest things because even though they might not be listening or might not care, it's fun to just tell them. You go up to them after you heard a rumor about them; to tell them what just happened in Chemistry; to make plans for the next 3 weekends. You're not afraid to be open with them, because you know that no matter what, they'll be there for you. But what happens when you hear a rumor, or a truth about them, or some kind of little sidenote that can cause so much "destruction" in the reality they're already living in? What if they just got out of a bad situation, and things are finally getting better for them, and out of the blue you hear something that you know you should tell them, but it just isn't worth seeing them in pain anymore. The second you speak those words, it could bring down their whole house- as if a tornado just passed by in a millisecond and knocked their home over. It's a secret that can go either left or right, turn black or white, grow or die. What can be done? Tell the person who confides in you the most (and viceversa) the secret that is neccessary to be told, or let it go, never have to let them see what could've been, what could've have changed, for better or for worse?
